Born in 1978, Bilal Karakoç started his sports career in judo at Tekel Sports Club in 1986. A national athlete who has achieved many successes in his sports career, he has also served as a national team coach. He has worked in many areas of judo for many years. He served as a physical education and sports instructor at Doğa Colleges. In 2008, he left this position and founded BK Judo School. Today, he continues his work as the founder of BK Judo School, while also serving as a coach and the Istanbul Judo Provincial Representative. He is a graduate of Marmara University Sports Academy, Department of Sports Management and Physical Education, and is married with two children.
