Born in 1978, Bilal Karakoç started his sports career in 1986 with judo at Tekel Sports Club. A national athlete who has achieved many successes in his sports career, he has also served as a national team coach. He has worked in many areas of judo for many years. He taught physical education and sports at Doğa Colleges. In 2008, he left this position and founded the BK Judo School. Today, he continues his work as the founder of BK Judo School, while also serving as a coach and the Istanbul Provincial Judo Representative. He is a graduate of Marmara University Sports Academy, Sports Management and Physical Education Department, and is married with two children.
