Frequently Asked Questions 8

Entering the Add Tour Page and Initial Settings

Click on the "Supplier Login" link at the bottom of the Traveltourshop.com homepage. From the screen that appears, log in to your panel using the email address and password information you provided during your supplier application.
In the opened supplier panel, you can easily access the tour adding screen by clicking the "Add New Tour" button on the right side.

On the page that opens, in the first step, "Initial Settings," determine the language in which you will create your tour and the type of tour you will create. After making your selections, you can proceed to the next step, "Main Information," by clicking the "Next" button.

Main Information

In the second step, the Main Information section, you will first be asked to enter the tour name, the country where the tour will take place, the province, and destination details. After this information, you will need to indicate whether there is guide service for the activity. For tours with guide service, you should proceed by selecting the language in which the service is provided.

Next, you will be asked to add the duration type (minutes, hours, etc.) and the duration of the tour. When adding the tour duration, you can tolerate possible delays by entering a range (e.g., 6-7 hours). After this stage, you will proceed to the area where your tour's cover image will be added. You must add your cover image by clicking the "Select File" button. Remember, the first photo that will appear in your tour is your cover photo; therefore, you should choose a photo that reflects reality as much as possible, best describes your tour, and is engaging. The cover photo you upload must be at least 1280 pixels wide.

After the cover photo, you must enter the earliest reservation time in days. This information determines how long before the tour customers can reserve your tour. Finally, you must enter the cancellation deadline in hour format. The cancellation deadline refers to the time frame within which your customer can cancel their reservation without stating any excuse.

Explanations

In the third stage, the "Explanations" section, you must first enter a text summarizing your tour in the "Short Description" part. In the "Full Description" part, located just below, you should add the text where you will describe your tour in detail. Remember that preparing a detailed tour description that leaves no room for doubt in the customer's mind will increase your sales rates.

In the "Important Information" section that follows the full description, you must specify rules or notes that are critically important within the tour. In the last step of the third stage, "Operational Contact Information" should be entered. This field should include alternative contact information to reach you in case your primary contact information, specified in the supplier application, is unreachable.

Meeting Points

In the "Meeting Points" section, which is the fourth stage, you first need to click the "Add Meeting Point" button. If your meeting point is a specific location, you can select the location on the map, perform a search by typing the address in the "Search Location" field, or directly add a Google Maps link. The name of the meeting place you determine should be a name that clearly describes that point (For example: Taksim Square).

If you do not have a fixed meeting point or if you are picking up your customers directly from their hotels with a transfer service, you can write the regions where you will provide service in the meeting point name section without selecting any location on the map (For example: Pick-up from your hotel in Antalya Lara/Kundu/Belek regions).

Keywords, Inclusions/Exclusions, Not Suitable For

In the fifth stage, in the "Keywords" section, you need to enter at least 5 keywords related to your tour. You must press the "Enter" key after each keyword you write to ensure the words are saved to the system.

In the sixth stage, the "Inclusions/Exclusions" section, you need to add the services that are included and not included in your tour. You can add as many items as you wish to the inclusions or exclusions fields. You must press the "Enter" key after each item you write to ensure the relevant service is saved to the system.

In the seventh stage, in the "Not Suitable For" section, you need to specify the guest groups who will not be able to benefit from the service or tour activities you offer (For example: Guests with walking disabilities or mobility impairments).

Photos

In the "Photos" section, which is the eighth stage, you will see the cover photo you previously uploaded. Next to the cover photo, there are areas where you can initially add 3 photos; you can select and upload your photos by clicking on these areas. You need to add 3 more photos by clicking on the "Choose File" buttons located directly below the images you have added. In each round uploaded to the system, it is mandatory to have at least 7 photos, including the cover photo.

If you want to add a video to your tour, you need to paste the YouTube link of the relevant video into the area below, then select whether the video is in horizontal or vertical format, and click the "Add Video" button.

Options and Discount Settings

The first part of the ninth stage, "Options," includes age group definitions. If you will not be pricing your tour differently based on age groups, you can skip this step directly. After selecting the age group name, simply set the minimum and maximum age limits and click the "Add" button; you can make this definition for all age group names in the system.

Adding options includes critical information such as your tour's sales price and activity times. You can add multiple options to a tour (e.g., "With Transfer" option and "Without Transfer / Tour Only" option). When you click the "Add Option" button, a field named "Option Name 1" will open. Clicking on this name will show you all the details of the option.

The pricing method relates to your tour's charging model. If you determined age groups in the previous step, you will see the relevant age group in this field. Choose the method suitable for your tour from the Age Group, Number of People (for tours with a single price per person), Quantity, or Vehicle options.

Option Name: This is the title field that will be displayed on your tour detail page. It can be considered a very brief description of the service to be received in exchange for the relevant fee.

Description: This is the detail field listed directly below the option name.

Start and End Dates: This is the calendar range indicating between which dates reservations can be made for the relevant option.

Pricing: This is the field where you enter the price at which the tour will be sold with this option.

Days of the Week: This is the field where you specify which days of the week and at what times the tour will be conducted, and how many people (quota/capacity) can be served at that time on that day.

By adding multiple options to a tour, you can sell with different combinations within the same tour page.

In our tenth stage, "Discount Settings," the maximum discount limits defined by the system to suppliers are determined. In this field, you can see the highest (maximum) discount rate or amount you can apply for the relevant tour and define discounts for your tours within this limit.

Review and Submit

In our eleventh and final stage, you can check a preview of the tour you have created and then submit it to Traveltourshop.com for review.

Tours submitted for review are automatically translated into 14 different languages by our system, and the necessary editing and checks are performed. If there is no missing information, your tour will be activated within 48 hours at the latest and start to be listed on the sales page.

If any missing or erroneous information is detected in the system, your tour will be sent for revision. These deficiencies will be notified to you in writing via e-mail. Additionally, when you log in to your supplier panel, you can see your tours that require revision and easily access detailed information about the specified deficiencies through the panel.
