Born in Muş in 1983. Graduated from Fırat University, Department of Design, and Anadolu University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He has been actively working in the press sector since 1999 and continues his work as the owner and editor-in-chief of Muş Kent Haber and Muş Haber newspapers.

Demir, who contributes to the development of local and regional press, has many years of experience in news management, editing, and media planning. In addition to being a member of the Press Board of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation and the Turkish Ski Federation, he has also served in earthquake and mountain search and rescue operations as a search and rescue expert for the Mountaineering Federation. He is also the founder and president of the Muş Mountaineering Club.

Demir, who also plays an active role in the Fenerbahçe community, is the founding vice president of the 1071 Muş Fenerbahçe Fans Association. He is known as the first person to plant the Fenerbahçe flag on Mount Ağrı and Mount Süphan, Turkey's highest peaks.

Awarded the State Superior Sacrifice Medal for his dedicated work during the earthquake period, Demir also takes an active role in education, culture, and social responsibility projects, particularly standing out with his support activities for village schools. Married and father of three children, Fırat Demir lives in Muş.
